Joel Taplin, our Founder and Director, grew up in the landscapes and communities of Norfolk and Suffolk, giving him a lifelong appreciation for the region’s charm and character. He began his professional career, in the city, in corporate business taxation before moving into rural estate agency, where he spent several years with two market-leading independent agencies in Norfolk and Suffolk, gaining an in-depth understanding of the property market.

The Process

As a first step, Joel would welcome the opportunity to meet with you ideally at your home, a mutually agreed location or alternatively a telephone call, for an initial consultation allowing him to understand your needs and discuss how he can help.

If you choose to proceed, Joel will guide you through to join as a client. This simply allows him to act exclusively on your behalf and dedicate his time to your search. An initial fee is payable at this stage to cover his tailored property search services, with a further fee due only upon exchange of contracts once the right property in Norfolk or Suffolk has been secured.

Once registered with Joel, your requirements will be discreetly shared with leading East Anglian estate agents, and he will draw on his established network of trusted contacts to uncover the most suitable opportunities. Joel will curate a considered shortlist and arrange viewings at your convenience, maintaining close and continuous communication with agents on your behalf. He can also preview and assess properties personally, ensuring only the most relevant options are presented saving you time and avoiding unnecessary journeys.
